Design considerations –

Three basic rules apply to ¼ Turn Fasteners: Spacing – 4 inches, Edge distance – 5/8 inch, Panel overlap - .750 (SK2600/2800 Series), 1.00 (SK4002/40S5 Series)*

Panel Thickness – Only a factor when using fixed depth receptacles. All fastener series parts vary in length (grip range). Each dash number varies by .030. Combined total thickness determines required fastener as determined by Skybolt chart. When using Adjustable Receptacles, one fastener length will accommodate combined thickness from .020 to over ½”. For SK4002/40S5 Series, outer panel thickness will determine required grommet. See Skybolt grommet chart.
